Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage


Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage is a breeding pace for elephants. It is the greatest herd of elephants in captivity in the world. The babies are fed on milk in the mornings and allowed to range freely on the very large  grassland. Each morning and afternoon elephants are walked to the river Maha Oya for bathing.


Algama Falls


Even though Algama Falls is not popular among people this is the closest water fall to city of Colombo in Sri Lanka.  It attracts people by it’s calm and quiet natural surroundings.  The special beauty of this water fall is that there are naturally created small ponds people can enjoy the cool water and it’s beauty.

Elephant Freedom Project


You can have a a wonderful day at Elephant Freedom Project if you adore elephants and really want to interact with elephants.  There are two beautiful elephants, Seetha and Manika.  You can walk with elephants in beautiful green surroundings, watch closely their movements and activities.  You can go for elephant bathing and help them bathing can scrub their skin with coconut husks and can enjoy the whole day with elephants.
